DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM (Neurology)
Dr. Jones attended Virginia Tech, ranking #1 in her class, and went on to gain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University where she also ranked #1 in her class. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Tufts and went on to complete her neurology and neurosurgery residency at Washington State University where she also gained her Masters in Veterinary Clinical Sciences before gaining board certification.
Prior to joining the team at Southern NH Veterinary Referral, Dr. Jones worked at Veterinary Referral and Critical Care in Virginia. While she finds all areas of veterinary neurology fascinating, she particularly enjoys the management of brain disease, including seizure management and neuro-critical care.
Dr. Jones has received many awards and honors (far too many to list here), and she has been published numerous times on topics like pharmacokinetics and gene mutation, making her an exciting addition to our Specialty team.
When not serving clients, she lives in Exeter, NH with her husband and son. Her four-legged family members include two dogs and one cat. Dr. Jones enjoys hiking, traveling, and of course, spending time with her 2- and 4-legged family.
